During her time as a probation officer, she also managed rehabilitative programs, including yoga, for the youth involved in the justice system. Dr. Ashley has been teaching yoga since 2012, and she is the hostess Breathe Yoga and Wellness, a local television program for Conway Corp Channel 5. Her health and wellness background also includes certifications in personal training, group fitness, bodybuilding, and sports nutrition.
After sustaining an injury during her service in the Army, Dr. Ashley experienced significant low back pain that resulted in the need for back surgery. Both prior to and after surgery, she utilized chiropractic care and holistic practices to help her function and manage pain. Due to her love of health and wellness, her desire to serve, and her experience with back surgery, she attended chiropractic school at Palmer Chiropractic School in Florida with the desire to help other people reduce pain and heal in the same way she did with chiropractic care. During her time in school, Dr. Ashley started receiving upper cervical care, and because of the changes she saw within her own health, she knew that she wanted to offer this style of chiropractic to her home of Arkansas.
Dr. Ashley also specializes in women’s health. She is currently participating in the Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internist wherein her focus within functional medicine includes women’s hormones and thyroid related conditions. She is an expert in intermittent fasting for women, and she loves teaching and empowering women of all ages to live holistic lifestyles.
